Beyond Pathetic

Not to belabor the point: we have all looked on as the head of BP carefully orchestrated his answers concerning the oil spill... (notice that when I say the oil spill I do not have to say which one). As the head of a gigantic corporation he simply tells it the way he would like us to believe. Good ol' never-give-a-sucker-an-even-break, corporate BP (oh I'm sorry I meant BS) mentality. Good looking, smoothing-talking, easy-going, one-of-the-guys says it's so, so it must be so... well, it is isn't it? Yep it is, until he gets caught in the lie, and caught again, and again and again, and yet continues to tell that lie and others with that same smiling public face.

On Wikipedia there is quite a lot of info on this subject and BP in general. At about mid page there's a notice that states: "This article's Criticism or Controversy section(s) may mean the article does not present a neutral point of view of the subject. It may be better to integrate the material in those sections into the article as a whole." I would certainly encourage everyone to read everything that can be found on this company and its actions and, then - make their own decisions.

There is the idea loose in the world that a corporation owes noting to the planet but profits for its investors. It's time to eliminate such nonsense from our lives. It takes action. Do what you can, without violence, to change everything.
